I met the Pearson’s several months back and fell in love with their home. Set in the historic district of down Grapevine, I just knew it would be the perfect location for a whimsical concept shoot. Designed by Couture Events by Lottie and photographed by Catie Ronquillo, the setting was envisioned for a high class tea party with a southern twist. A Texan Marie Antoinette feel if you will.
The backdrop adorned with a vintage, turquoise Shasta camper, and sweet details such as hankies strung as a banner, old hat boxes, chandeliers hanging amongst the trees and floating paper flowers in hanging frames. The attention to detail was exquisite, from the lovely broaches fastened to the linen napkins, vintage piano music sheets to the wonderful signage provided by Southern Fried Paper. The fabulous treats consisted of cake balls, petit fours, whoopee pies and mini cupcakes. And don’t fail to notice that fabulous vintage stove provided by the lovely Rent My Dust.
