DIY Vintage Chic Table Decor

Floral decor and centerpieces can cost a pretty penny.  Here is a super cute way to add style to your event without breaking the bank.  Start by stacking vintage books on the table along with decorative glass cups on top filled with beautiful, rustic flowers.  This is a great way to venture away from the standard glass vase and tap into your romantic side.

DIY Homemade Favors that Scream Summer

Who doesn’t love a great parting gift! Favors are a wonderful way to thank your guests for being a part of your big day. This homemade limoncello wedding favor seems so fitting for a spring or summertime wedding. Limoncello is the traditional Italian lemon-flavored liqueur made using lemon zest. After preparing the liqueur, package in a swing top bottle with a personalized tag that includes the bride and groom’s names.

The recipe to create this crisp, chic drink can be found at Food Network.

DIY Thank You’s that are affordable, stylish and personal

Using signs on the day of are a great personalized and inexpensive way to create thank you post cards to your guests later. I used this idea for my own wedding and my family and friends loved it.  Take one of your photos from your wedding celebration and convert it into a postcard by using such sites as Snap Fish or Shutterfly.  I was able to order 50 cards for a whooping $29.00…plus the postage is only $.29 on the postcards.  Check out my fun “thank you” postcard that you can recreate yourself.

P.S Etsy is a great place to find fun and charming little signs. Mine were ordered from Pertyful Tings OR hold a thank you banner like the photo also shown below found on Just Say No To Tulle Blog.
