We got together with some favorite people again to do up a simple and sweet VDay inspired shoot with soon 2 be’s Taryn & Ben. Aren’t they just the cutest?! Design and concept pulled together by Ebony Peoples of Ebony Peoples Events & Design, Amanda & Heather of We+You Studios, and of course Couture Events by Lottie. Vintage Rentals from Rita at Rent My Dust Vintage, linens from Carolyn at Linen Hero, sweets and cake by The Jenny Layne Bakery, Makeup and Hair by Tia Vang, and photography by Sara & Rocky Photography!
I am creating a new word for this wedding… earthchic. While Kristin loved textures like burlap, she still loved the frilly feel of ruffles. And while she adores moss, she still loves a clean and chic look. We really worked earthy elements into the wedding without going overkill and still keeping a classy appeal. There were so many beautiful details including an heirloom brooch bouquet by Red Sole Events, coloring station for the kiddos, props for the guests’ amusement, mismatched vintage china by Rent My Dust, personalized cd favors, a wishing tree, adorable programs by Southern Fried Paper, an elaborate treat spread by Legacy Cakes Grapevine, a super romantic bridal cake by Sugar Bee Sweets and one super cool ring bearer. It was such a wonderful day! We are lucky and blessed to know this couple and their beautiful family!

We are so proud to sneak a peek of our latest couple Kristin & Joseph who were wed on 11.25.11 at Hickory Street Annex. The wedding was such a beautiful day and was packed with a talented lineup of vendors such as Ryan Ray Photography, Rent My Dust Vintage Rentals, Gil’s Catering, Linen Hero, Rental Stop, Sugar Bee Sweets, Legacy Cakes Grapevine, Southern Fried Paper, Red Sole Events, Astounding Sounds, Premier Transportation, and of course, Couture Events by Lottie. The wedding was full of woodsy elements like burlap, tree stumps, birch wood candles, and moss. A lovely affair indeed.
